Deliverables on this module are as follows:
Media Artefact (50%)
The 3-minute documentary that you will produce and use in your presentation will be assessed according to whether it has met the assignment brief. We will consider how the production represents your understanding of the importance of the research skills that you have been taught. You must follow the module production guidelines (release forms, copyright, and all permissions sought and signed).
Final Presentation (20%)
Your ability to produce a presentation that is clear, coherent and within the brief. Including evidence of personal development and exploration. This should be presented in your team.
Individual workbook (30%)
Blogs should be well prepared and presented. They must include regular and appropriate reflection as directed over the course of the module. The blog will be used to evaluate individual student’s involvement in the group work.
Coursework Submission
Your coursework will be submitted to Reception in the Ellen Terry Building between 10.00am AND 12.00PM THURSDAY 18TH MARCH 2010. Your coursework should have a cover sheet (available from Reception) affixed to the front sheet. You should also make sure that you sign the sheet to confirm that you have submitted your work. The deadline for blog entries is 12.00PM blog entries after this deadline will be disregarded.
Each group should submit work their work in a sturdy A3 plastic pouch (available from the GS Art Shop) with the names of each group member clearly visible. This should contain as a minimum:
• three copies of your artefact: one on DV tape, one on DVD and one low-res version on CD
• the group production file
• the individual blog addresses
Please note: The staff in Reception have been instructed that these times should be rigidly adhered to and no-one, for whatever reason, will be allowed to submit work outside these times.
